Located in Seef, the Royal Bahrain Hospital is envisioned as a new symbol of healthcare excellence in the GCC—a contemporary 100-bed facility that combines clinical efficiency with a refined architectural identity.
The building is organized with a structured layering approach, where the lower five levels accommodate parking, screened by a carefully articulated façade system. The hospital floors above are expressed through a combination of glazing and ACP paneling, creating a clean, modern aesthetic.
Inpatient rooms are strategically located on the upper levels, oriented to maximize sea-facing views and create a calm, restorative environment. The planning emphasizes natural light across public areas, reinforcing a sense of openness and well-being.
